Welcome

Welcome to my site! My name is Emiliana Escobar, an I’ve working in the electrical construction field for over 16 years; while obtaining a Doctoral Degree in Education Technology. My family has a strong background in construction itself, which I’ve built my life around. Taking in all courses possible in high school such as AutoCad, Mechanics, and Engineering. My most recent endeavor was focused on bilingual education, in the field there are many who are of Spanish decent needing help in communication; which I thought would help me eventually advance into my ultimate goal of building a curriculum in the field that would also encompass a bilingual aspect.

I saw a crucial need providing the appropriate skills and training for prospects learning the electrical trade. Most trade schools use an outdated curriculum that only covers the most basic of items and lacking use of tools in coordination with materials. Not only that, but tricks of the trades are also missing to help make work efficient and productive. Furthermore, students in those trade schools are at a loss regarding work ethics and safety expectations too! Hence, my initiative to create a curriculum through use of technology.

This portfolio is organized with content curation accrued and provided by my own experiences and research.

You will need a computer with access to internet, informative modules also may require tool and equipment for the trade.
